Bye Hong Kong and Macau

Spending 4 days in Hong Kong and 1 day in Macau, it´s time to continue travelling. Before saying goodbye, I wanted to wrap these destinations up with some last thoughts.

Both cities are well developed and everything works. Hong Kong has the MTR, which takes you wherever you need to be. In Macau you can enjoy the free rides almost anywhere. From any big luxurious hotel you can take a free shuttle bus to a big casino, and transfer to a free shuttle taking you to the airport. All busses offers free Wi-Fi, and using the shuttle doesn't force you to gamble (but you sure can if you want). As we stayed with a local couple, the accommodation was free of charge, but Macau has a lot of budget accommodation to offer. If you are stopping by in Hong Kong, I highly recommend spending one day in Macau, just to experience something that you won´t be able to anywhere else in the world (except Las Vegas perhaps).

Whenever you travel you automatically visit markets, but you should definitely go to the Temple Night Market in Hong Kong, at least go there for dinner if you don´t feel like buying anything.

Here is a short video! Now, off yo Myanmar!
